Labor Day Family Fun Weekend
Idyllwild Nature Center invites you and your family to the annual weekend of family fun, September 4th 5th & 6th.
The activities for the weekend include :
Saturday September 4th ” Who let the dogs out? ” 10:00am – 1:00pm Join the staff & volunteers from ARF ( Animal Rescue Friends) & Living Free Animal Sanctuary as they introduce many of their adoptable dog friends. This is an opt to adopt opportunity. Learn techniques of training with their trainer ..bring your dog for this fun day and make it a dogs day afternoon!
Sunday September 5th” Roam the Realm of the Regal, Reclusive, Recoiling Reptiles” 10:00am – 1:00pm with Herpetologist Mark Jones
Monday September 6th “Are you baffled about bugs? When is a bug a bug?’ 10:00am – 12:00pm Join Professor of Entomology Dr. Kirk Olsen for a buggy day.
All three days will feature fun activities & crafts for children
Environmental Troubadour Bill Oliver
October 30th, 2010 from 1:00 – 4:00pm Mr Habitat will be at the Idyllwild Nature Center.
Texas Troubadour Bill Oliver has been engaging and entertaining audiences from Texas to California bringing to life the vital issues of Habitat conservation for over 20 years. Join us for the fun motivational songs that made him “MR Habitat”!We will provide children arts and crafts throughout the day that pertain to habitats, recycling, and environmental friendly topics.
