Mayflower Park Improvements


We are pleased to announce several new and exciting additions to Mayflower Park for your pleasure.  The project development includes additional landscaping, a new entryway, entry kiosk, shade shelters and an expanded recreational vehicle storage area. In addition, there will be a new maintenance building, water well, and several park-wide electrical infrastructure improvements. During construction some park amenities may or may not be available at the park during your visit.

Santa Rosa Plateau temporarily closed due to wildfire operations


The Santa Rosa Plateau Reserve is currently closed until further notice, due to wildfire operations near Santa Rosa Plateau. The Reserve will remain closed for safety and continued firefighting operations. Hot spots are still burning at Clinton Keith Road and road closures. Vehicle escorts are being provided to private lands on the Plateau.

Santa Rosa Plateau Reserve Annual Art Show August and September


The 13th Annual Art & Education Exhibit at the  Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve Visitor Center 39400 Clinton Keith Road, Murrieta, CA  92562.

This fabulous exhibition runs from August 8 – September 12,  Tuesday – Friday,  9 am – 5 pm.  Paintings, Photographs, Sculptures and Jewelry by local artists are for sale to benefit education programs on the Reserve.  Inquiries:  951-677-6951

PKARC-099 Housing Rental Survey


The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District is seeking proposals from a qualified vendor to provide Rental Housing Market Survey throughout Riverside County.   The Riverside County Park System consist of  two (2) major geographical areas, the Western Riverside County and Eastern Riverside County.  Within these areas, there are Parks located throughout the Desert Areas, Mountains areas, Colorado River, Blythe and Riverside.    Many of the Parks currently consist of Ranger Residences where employees reside as well as Camp Host, Volunteers and Caretakers who reside on Park camp sites.   Dwellings consist of Mobile Homes, a Lodge, Single Family Homes & Pads (A space located at the Park for Volunteer and Caretakers Motor Homes).    Our goal is to acquire a Rental Housing Market Survey for each dwelling in each area to include but not limited to rents, electric, waste/sewer, trash, propane or gas for Non-Subsidized Housing.
