Inspection Services for Rancho Jurupa Park – Phase 2 Construction, in the Riverside County Park & Open-Space District, Riverside County, California The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District (“District”) is requesting proposals be submitted by professional construction inspection firms to provide Inspection services for the renovation and expansion of the Rancho Jurupa Park. Rancho Jurupa Park encompasses 225 acres, bounded by Crestmore Road in Riverside. 45 acres of this site will be improved in the expansion project.

The project will consist of many new features including a miniature golf course, water play area, check-in building, camp store, campground “clubhouse” (a restroom, shower and laundry building), prefabricated restroom building and parking lots. New roads and walking paths will be constructed that will tie the existing roads and the Park District Headquarters to the new features.
New underground electrical and low voltage, domestic water and sewer lines will be installed for new park features and for existing campground areas. New irrigation will be provided throughout the areas of improvement fed from the existing well and pump. Other features may include landscaping, cabins, boulder play area and shade structures.
It is estimated that the construction will cost $10 million and that it will take 12 months to build. This project is funded through the State of California and Development Impact Fees. Issuance of this Request for Proposals (RFP) and the administration of any subsequent contract will be performed by the District. All inquiries regarding this RFP must be in writing and faxed to:

A.M. AT THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY REGIONAL PARK & OPEN-SPACE DISTRICT AT THE
ADDRESS GIVEN ABOVE IN THE POOL HOUSE/GARDEN ROOM.
The pre-submittal meeting will include time for consultants to tour Rancho Jurupa Park, which is next door to the District headquarters.Please submit five (5) copies of your proposal no later than 3:00 PM, December 6, 2007. Proposals are to be submitted DIRECTLY TO THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY REGIONAL PARK & OPEN-SPACE DISTRICT AT THE ADDRESS GIVEN ABOVE by delivery through a commercial carrier, by hand delivery or by certified mail. Proposals sent by regular mail, fax or email will NOT be accepted.
