Join Archaeologist Daniel Mc Carthy and others at the Idyllwild Nature Center for a hands on experience as we learn about native usage of the acorn. Join in the fun as we gather, sort, shell, and ground acorns and make wiwish, the tradional meal for the Cahuilla. Bring and share your favorite acorn receipe.
