Description: The County Trail Ride for the month of September will be beautiful Bogart Park in the Cherry Valley/Beaumont area. Plan to be in the saddle at 9:00 for a 4-5 hour ride. Pack your own lunch, snacks and beverages with you, as we will be making a one-hour stop for lunch along the way. There is water available at the staging area for horses before and after the ride.
The terrain in and around Bogart Park varies considerably. Much of the ride will be in mountainous areas with narrow and steep trails. Some portions of the ride will be shaded areas, but others in direct sunlight – so don’t forget your sunscreen. Be prepared for water crossings. All horses should be shod and in good condition. Stallions and dogs are not allowed on the ride.
Camping at Bogart Park will be available for $7.00 per night for those wishing to camp the night before or after the ride.
