Bring a flashlight and a sense of adventure for our night time walks at the  Hidden Valley Wildlife Area as we venture out on the trails along the Santa Ana River bottom.  Hot chocolate and cookies will be served at the end of each program.

  • Friday, September 28th: Hats Off to Bats . PowerPoint presentation and walk.

  • Friday, October 26th: Full Moon Walk . Learn about the moon, its phases and features.

  • Friday, November 16th: Stories in the Stars . Hear some stories and learn about meteors.

  • Friday, December 7th: Owl Prowl . PowerPoint presentation and walk.

Cost: $3.00 per person

Go on a search for wildlife along the Santa Ana River bottom at the Hidden Valley Wildlife Area . Learn about the importance and functions of wetlands. Learn to identify venemous snakes and poisonous plants in the area. Children will make an animal track cast to take home. (Meets Weblos Naturalist requirements.)
