Schools may schedule a 2.5 hour program at the Ecological Reserve. The program includes a two-hour, one-mile hike through four distinct plant communities, focusing on the geology, animal and plant life, and human history of the area.
Indoor activities are conducted before or after the hike with interpretive displays in the Visitor Center to re-enforce lessons learned on the trail.
