Located 10 mi. north of Temecula off Rancho California Rd. 158 sites with full hook-ups, 16 with water & electric, 39 with water only. Camping is a popular activity here, with 300 developed campsites for both tent and RV campers. Full hookups and showers are available, along with a convenient camp store. Groups can choose from several settings, including two new mini-group areas in Campground C and a separate, reservations available at sites overlooking the lake.
Space is also available for group events, such as company picnics, reunions and club functions. Lake Skinner offers shade structures, barbecues, rest rooms, an on-site caterer, and some of the best views around.
We are pleased to announce several new and exciting additions to Lake Skinner Recreation Area for your pleasure in the near future. Our additions include a new water splash pad, amphitheatre, roads and trails. The park will be in construction from July 2009 through April 2010. The pool will be closed the entire year of 2009. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause during your visit at Lake Skinner.
