Join us on Saturday, August 7, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm for an evening of exceptional art and enriching education. The 13th Annual Art & Education Exhibit at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve Visitor Center 39400 Clinton Keith Road, Murrieta, CA 92562.

This fabulous exhibition runs from August 8 – September 12, Tuesday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. Paintings, Photographs, Sculptures and Jewelry by local artists are for sale to benefit education programs on the Reserve. Inquiries: 951-677-6951

PKARC-099 Housing Rental Survey

The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District is seeking proposals from a qualified vendor to provide Rental Housing Market Survey throughout Riverside County. The Riverside County Park System consist of two (2) major geographical areas, the Western Riverside County and Eastern Riverside County. Within these areas, there are Parks located throughout the Desert Areas, Mountains areas, Colorado River, Blythe and Riverside. Many of the Parks currently consist of Ranger Residences where employees reside as well as Camp Host, Volunteers and Caretakers who reside on Park camp sites. Dwellings consist of Mobile Homes, a Lodge, Single Family Homes & Pads (A space located at the Park for Volunteer and Caretakers Motor Homes). Our goal is to acquire a Rental Housing Market Survey for each dwelling in each area to include but not limited to rents, electric, waste/sewer, trash, propane or gas for Non-Subsidized Housing.

1st Annual 4th of July Celebration

Rancho Jurupa Park & Park District Headquarters will be hosting the 1st Annual 4th of July Celebration. Activities will include food vendors, face painting, balloonist, bouncers, a live animal show, live music and a DJ. The Park will open at 7:00 a.m. and festivities will begin approximately 3:00p.m. The event will end immediately after the firework show off the top of Mount Rubidoux.

Come join us and enjoy the festivities!

Jurupa Valley Aquatic Center Concessionaire Project

The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District (District) invites sealed proposals for the Jurupa Valley Aquatic Center Concessionaire Project (Project). The project site is located at 4310 Camino Real Rubidoux CA 92509.

The Project includes the managing and operation of concessions at the Jurupa Valley Aquatic Center. The concessionaire will be required to provide appropriate merchandise (gift shop), food and beverages to the public. Detailed information regarding the Project is specified in the Request for Proposal.

A NON-MANDATORY BIDDERS MEETING SHALL BE HELD ON JUNE 2, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. AT THE CONSTRUCTION OFFICE AT THE JURUPA VALLEY AQUATIC CENTER SITE. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT INTERESTED BIDDERS ATTEND THIS MEETING TO ASCERTAIN THE FULL SCOPE OF WORK.

All questions regarding the documents should be directed to the District in writing. Addendums will be posted on the District’s website under the Purchasing and Bids tab at http://www.riversidecountyparks.org/news/bids

Proposals must be in accordance with the Request for Proposal. All proposals are due no later than 12:00 P.M., JUNE 9, 2010. Proposals must be filed with the Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District located at 4600 Crestmore Road Riverside, CA 92509. Proposals must be received by the District Staff by the bid closing time. The District will not be responsible for and will not accept late bids due to delayed mail delivery or courier services. The District highly recommends proposals be hand delivered to the District Headquarters at the above mentioned address. No faxed quotes will be accepted.
