Acorn Day October 23rd 10:00am – 3:00pm
Archaeologist & Tribal Representative Daniel Mc Carthy will give an historical perspective on the traditional harvesting and usage of the acorns. Through hands on activities we will provide educational and fun learning experiences by sorting, grinding, leaching, the acorns. Participants will have the opportunity to sample ‘Wiwish’ the Cahuilla’s traditional acorn meal, and muffins.

The First Annual Lemon Lily Festival is to be held Friday, July 16 through Sunday, July 18 , 2010
Hours are 9:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m.
We have two main venue sites: Idyllwild Nature Center located at 25225 highway 243 and Town Hall at 25925 Cedar Street.
Give a Day, Get a Day with Riverside County Parks
Beginning January 1, 2010, Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District will become a participating organization in Disney’s “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” Volunteer Service Program.
