All entries will be judged by District staff, and finalists will be posted at <a href="https://owa.co.riverside.ca.us/owa/redir.aspx?C=5aa38df3f5a9499a90957504b94fc425&amp;URL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.riversidecountyparks.org" target="_blank">www.riversidecountyparks.org</a> so that viewers can vote for the best shots.</span></span></p>
<p>Online voting will begin on May 15 and continue through May 23.  Five winners selected by online viewers will receive prizes and will have their photos featured on the District’s web site on May 24.</p>
<p>Photos submitted must be the original work of the photographer. Winners will be contacted via e-mail and announced on the website. Galleries of submitted photos will be available on the site after May 14.</p>

<p>As with any outdoor activity, be mindful of vegetation that can cause allergic reactions.   For example, a purple wildflower found in burned areas called Turricula parryi, known as the poodle-dog bush, can cause symptoms similar to those caused by poison oak. <p><strong>Jr Naturalist Programs</strong>- Each Saturday 10:00am &#8211; 12:00pm.  programs include crafts, activities, snacks and a nature walk. Children can earn different gifts depending on numbers of programs they attend throughout the summer. Fee $3.00.  Member of Friends support group $2.00.  Jr. Naturalist patch is available $3.50 eh. Space is limited, RSVP to guarantee your groups place for these fun activities.  <br />
