Trails re-open Feb 12, 2010 at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve.  Stream water levels have receded allowing  replacement of most bridges.  Visitors are once again welcome to hike at the Santa Rosa Plateau Reserve.   Specific closures are still in place as of February 17, 2010.  There is  no access on the vernal pool boardwalk [...]

Repeating winter storms have brought more water to the streams of the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve.  Bridges across the Reserve which were just fixed last week were washed aside during a storm event on February 6th.
All trails on the Reserve are closed as of Sunday, February 7 until such time as the bridges can [...]

Due to severe weather all trails are closed.  Beginning Monday, January 18, 2010  all access to the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve is denied.  All the gates are locked and will remain so until safe conditions return.  For current trail conditions and opening updates, please phone  951-677-6951  daily 8 am – 5 pm.
