Let us look back into time to a peaceful yet challenging life along the Santa Ana River, when Tongva (Gabrielino) children played games, men hunted for food and women prepared meals.

Emphasis is placed on the importance of the river and wetlands in the daily life of the Tongva prior to European settlement. Storytelling will be an integral part of the program.
