Stocking dates have been announced for Lake Cahuilla. The lake will be stocked with 1500 pounds of trout per stocking on the normal stocking sequence. February 15th is a special stocking for a derby, and the lake will be stoked with 2000 pounds of larger-sized trout.

Since 1995, volunteers have prevented over 1300 tons of trash from polluting our creeks and cities and entering the Pacific Ocean.

On Saturday, January 27, there were 640 attendees at Duck Daze. This was up from last year’s count of 420. We offered our usual exhibits, hayrides, games, crafts, storytelling, taxidermy demonstration and nature hikes. Mr. Seth was back with his enthusiastic storytelling.
